Social Skills teens program 12-17 years

About the program

 We understand that navigating the social world is complex, especially in adolescence. The social skills teens program is suited for young adolescent aged 12-17 years old who are interested in learning conversational skills, making and keeping friends, boundaries, interpreting non-verbal communication, handling rejection and disappointment along with foundational skills to build and maintain relationships and connections. This program is created by Behaviour Practitioners to facilitate and foster emotional intelligence and social thinking.


This program will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams. Multi Health will assist with sending through instructions on how to join and you will be provided with a Teams link once you've signed up! Group fortnightly sessions from 5:30pm - 7:30pm AEST time on Thursdays for three months. Groups limited to four participants, intake November 2024, waitlist for March 2025. Alternatively, you can have individual sessions, these are held on Friday.

Social Thinking doesn't provide social emotional teaching strategies, to “fix” or “cure” individuals with learning differences, but instead offer a methodical, concrete way of understanding how the social world works.

Self-Managed Families & Plan-Managed Families

NDIS funding may generally be used if the family are self-managed, or plan managed.

Is this program available to non-NDIS participants?

Yes, our program is also available to non-NDIS participants using Private Funding.

a) Improved Daily Living (Capacity Building)   

c) If you need a different category - Then ask us - we can show you how to discuss possibilities and options with your support co-ordinator or plan manager. 

NDIS Reports Provided

Parents often ask, “Can I please have a report for our NDIS plan review?” Rest assured; the answer is a resounding "Yes!”. We'll arrange that for you. No hidden fees - All reporting like this is already built into the standard program fee, so you will not be given an extra fee beyond the usual cost of the program.
